Boating Licence Course

Effective 1st October 2006 applicants for a NSW boating licence must attend a compulsory course before sitting the boat licence test. The aim is to make people more aware of the dangers associated with boating and to be safe on the water. We deliver a fun and interactive course at a convenient locations in Sydney and around NSW, for you to get your boat licence sooner.

We aim to provide you with more than just a boat licence course. We wish to promote safety, ability and competence whilst operating a boat.

You can do just the minimum compulsory course or the practical package which includes hopping aboard our boat to learn more with a practical experience. If successful in the knowledge test a certificate will be issued for presentation to an office of NSW Maritime Authority for the issuing of the licence.

Two options to choose from

Option 1: Compulsory Course
for the NSW Boating Licence

Option 2: Compulsory Course +
Practical Boating Experience

The boating licence course is usually run over 3 hours. On its completion, participants receive a certificate which they present to NSW Maritime, whereupon a licence will be issued. No further testing is required.
